Pocket Casts is one of the most important apps on my phone.
I remember the wonder I felt when I first discovered podcasts, and finding the Pocket Casts app made me feel that all over again! This app solves the problem of listening to podcasts on different devices.
It keeps track of which episodes you've played and even the place you left off within the episode, no matter what device you're on. I especially like this when I'm traveling, because I can listen on my laptop on the airplane, which preserves my phone's battery. Then when I get in the rental car, I can plug in my phone and pick up exactly where I left off. This is my favorite of the many advanced features packed into the app.
It's well worth the $14.99/year, and is available across iOS, Android, Windows, and more.
